Custer Wins Rain-Shortened NASCAR Xfinity Series Street Race in Chicago with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission
Running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Cole Custer won The Loop 121 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series on the Chicago Street Course. The race was red-flagged Saturday three laps short of halfway due to lightning in the area after Custer started on the pole and led the first 25 laps. The race was to resume Sunday morning, but heavy rain and standing water on the course forced an early completion, with Custer declared the winner. John Hunter Nemechek finished second. Justin Allgaier was third, while Brett Moffitt and Austin Hill finished fourth and fifth. Drivers using JASPER products finished in nine of the top ten places.
