Hill Wins NASCAR Xfinity Series Opener at Daytona with JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Eckes Third in Truck Series
Running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, Austin Hill was declared the winner of Saturday’s Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner. 300, the season opener for the NASCAR Xfinity Series, at Daytona International Speedway. Starting from the pole, Hill was ahead of second-place finisher John Hunter Nemechek when the caution flag was displayed for a crash on the final lap of overtime. The race ended five laps past its scheduled 120-lap distance, with Hill leading a race-high 39 laps. Justin Algaier was third and Myatt Snider finished fifth. Drivers using JASPER products took nine of the top ten finishing positions. Christian Eckes, also running a JASPER 4-Speed Transmission, finished third in Friday’s Nextera Energy 250, the season opener for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, at Daytona. Grant Enfinger finished fifth as drivers using JASPER products took three of the top ten positions at the checkered flag.
